Stonewall's Jerquee

While we were in Seattle we dropped by the all-vegan grocery store, Sidecar for Pigs Peace. While we were there we picked up a bunch of stuff, but one of the things we got was a snack pack of Stonewall's Jerquee in the original wild flavor. Stonewall's makes a bunch of vegetarian (all except one flavor is vegan) jerky, and this was the first time Ben and I had seen it.

I honestly didn't like it and neither did Ben. The texture was all wrong and they tasted almost...fluffy? I'm not sure how to explain it. They were really, really tough but tasted puffed. Anyway, besides the texture I thought the flavors were lacking and they were way too spicy. Won't buy them again. I'll just stick with my Primal Strips, thanks.
