Last Saturday, Ben and I have our ESLC training again in Salt Lake and needed somewhere to go for lunch... luckily Frisch is close by and I love their food! Ben and I did an initial review of Frisch last week right after they opened but were ready to go back only a week later and try out even more menu items.I was especially excited to drop by when I saw that they were making a wrap called the doom shroom with mushrooms in adobo sauce, guacamole, and cabbage (right). It looked AMAZING to me so I commented on their Facebook and said that I hoped they would have it the next day when we would be in SLC. They responded and said that it was their daily special that day so probably not. We decided to drop by anyway because, again, I love their food... and they had the doom shroom waiting for me! The owner, Rachel, who is totally awesome said that she decided to make more just because I said I was dropping by. Awwwww, so sweet. And, more importantly, it was everything I was expecting. Spicy and delicious.
Ben got the mandarin slaw with sesame soy chicken, which was equally delicious and we both got a chocolate chip cookie. The cookies were a bit crispy for my taste, but the flavor was fabulous.
So, again, Frisch has wowed me with their food and service. Definitely a new favorite in SLC and I'm happy to see they're getting a lot of positive attention. They already have 667 likes on Facebook and were even featured in the local news!
